Boundary Study Committee's recommended guidelines

This year, a Boundary Study Committee met to

  • study school attendance boundaries as part of the district’s long-range facility planning and
  • provide potential school boundary changes and guidelines for implementation of future school boundary changes to the School Board for their consideration.

The committee came up with a set of recommended guidelines based on months of research and feedback collected via a Thoughtexchange community conversation.

Find the June 20 presentation to the School Board here. The recommended guidelines were adopted by the SPS School Board members at the June 27 regular meeting. Click here for the presentation.

The Boundary Study Committee is part of our long-range bond planning, which began in 2016-17 with a grade configuration study committee.
