6th Grade Parent Night (2/15/18 - 6:00 pm)

Dear Sixth Grade Families,

We are excited that your son or daughter will soon be a seventh grade student at Glover Middle School! To help you prepare for the transition to middle school we would like to invite parents to the 6th Grade Parent Night on Thursday, February 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the Glover cafeteria. Information will be provided regarding your student’s 7 grade year including academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities and more. We hope you can attend, gain useful information, and meet some of our staff.

Each student’s transition to middle school is important to us. We are proud of the comprehensive academic and activity programs we offer to our students. The parent meeting will provide us an opportunity to introduce you to these programs as well as review registration information and graduation requirements pertinent to Seventh Graders.

During the Parent Night on February 15 parents will be given the elective pre-registration form to discuss as a family so your son or daughter can easily choose the courses they will take during registration when our school counselor visits your student’s elementary school the following week.

In addition, we'd like to inform you of another transition activity that we have planned for your student.  During the first week of June, Sixth Grade students who attend Glover next year will be bussed from their elementary schools for an orientation that will include a tour, lunch, and information about “Life as a Glover Falcon”.

Our staff is committed to your child’s success and sincerely looks forward to welcoming your child to the Glover Family! We look forward to seeing you at the Parent Pre-Registration Meeting on February 15.
