At Spokane Public Montessori, we are thrilled to offer students meals prepared in our from-scratch kitchen here in the Havermale building. In our kitchen, the goal is to use as many items from our Community Garden as possible including herbs, vegetables, fruits, etc.. We will have as much of the menu from-scratch as possible. For example, if we have spaghetti we won't make the noodles, but will make the sauce from scratch (and hopefully from our garden). We will make our own bread, we will not serve flavored milk, and none of the items will be breaded.
