Our Willard volunteers are amazing, and help with everything from daily routines to special activities. We need your help to make Willard an even better place to learn!
Did you know that parental involvement in a child’s education is an important factor in raising student self-esteem and academic achievement? Experts say parental involvement should go beyond attendance at teacher conferences, open houses, and school activities. We realize that each of our families here at Willard is unique – with its own priorities, needs, talents, and time constraints. We want to provide as many different types of volunteer opportunities.Volunteer HelpWe welcome you any day of the week, if you have already been cleared through District 81. We have a great little area set-up for teachers to drop of projects they need help with. That area is always full of stuff to be done! There is always something for you to do! If you have a whole day or only an hour of time to donate, we would love to see you here. If you are unsure of how to get started contact me and set-up a time for a quick 15 min orientation on the in's and out's of volunteering at Willard. It is easier than you think and fun. The kids and staff would love to see you here!!!

The application permits a thorough criminal history review through the Washington State Patrol. Once the application is approved, the volunteer can join the Willard volunteer team. This process is important, not only for the security of our students, but for our volunteers as well. If you volunteer at Willard, and suffer an injury during your volunteer time, your registration process allows coverage of these claims.
