    The library will hold a book fair prior to and during conference week.  Don't miss your chance to get some great books and win some cool prizes.   We will be having our annual Book Mark Contest, our 'Get Caught Reading' promotion, as well as the 'Guessing Jar of Awesomeness'.   3 Great ways to win prizes.  In the library during conference week!

                                                    Library T-Shirt Winner

        This year's winner of the Library T-shirt Contest is Kalli Fee.  Kalli's design was chosen for both the graphic design and the caption.  She will receive a free t-shirt along with some other great prizes.  Great job Kalli.

    Free Silverwood Tickets

    It's that time again.  Log 10 hours of reading between now and March 6th to earn a free ticket to Silverwood.  Offer good for Shaw students only - 1 ticket per student.  Pick up forms from the library or your ELA teacher.  Forms MUST be signed by parent/guardian to be valid and turned in to the library by March 6th.


     -Welcome to the Shaw Library, where learning is an adventure.  Our mission is to help children develop a life-long love of reading and to ensure students are effective users of ideas and information.  As a twenty-first century student, your student must be a life long learner, be able to interact with today's technology and learn how to approach the technology of the future.
    -Our library is open Monday through Friday. The library may be used before school (most days, with occasional exceptions) from 8:50 to 9:00, or, if open, you may use the library during each grade level's designated lunch break - Please check to see of the library is open during that time.  Finally, the library is open after school from 3:30 to 3:40.  If you have any questions please call 354-5832
