    This club, an organization that comprises those interested in the theatrical arts, puts on the plays, musicals and theatrical events through out the year.  Students involved also include stagecraft, drama and music students but is open to all who express interest in any aspect of Theatre Arts.  The Theatre Arts Club is dedicated to bringing the joy and power of theatre to Ferris students by providing high quality dramatic, comedic and improvisational programming. It pledges to offer participants the chance to experience the excitement and rewards of theatre arts while developing poise, social skills, confidence and the ability to work with others.

    All members are introduced to both the theory and practice of theatre. The club produces several ensemble plays for small or large cast theatre productions. The Theatre Arts Club’s members are performing, constructing and painting sets, making costumes, collecting and organizing props, hanging and running lights and sound, writing programs, and learning the business mangagement side of the theatre profession.

    The stage crew and cast meet almost every day from about 2:40-5. Crew also works some weekends. The club also participates in community service, goes to festivals and attends performances.
